Just a little update, Milo my cat has been very poorly with pneumonia all weekend and is in the petmedics animal hospital. He has had to have fluid drained from his lungs and has very fast breathing and rapid heartbeat. The good news is he is responding to the antibiotics, iv fluids etc and as he is young 14 months he should recover well, His pals are missing him and I cant wait till he is well enough to come home. I will let you all know when he is out of the woods, but it is looking much better than a couple of days ago.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes. I am pleased to report that he is comfortable this morning and will be having a light anaesthatic so they can drain the remaining fluid from his lung. More antibiotics then maybe if he stays ok start to look at rehab and home in a few days. I have worried so much about him as he is a quiet little thing, very affectionate and the vets say he has been a lovely little patient, and even purrs when they have finished the treatment and stroke him !!!
I will let you all know any new info, and thanks again for your support xxx

Well at last some good news!! Milo can come home today after his drain comes out. He is still on antibiotics but so much better. I cant wait, and neither can his friends as they have missed him. You cant tell them they are coming back so cant wait to see them!!! Thanks for all your good wishes. I will try to get a pic of him when he's home. L xx

Thank you. He is home now and apart from having half his coat shaved and two big staple things near his ribs he is fine, He is curled up purring in his sleep. He's certainly not worried about my vets bill which stood at over £800!!! (asked if they do instalments!!) Well he's worth it just to see him getting better xxxxx

So pleased Milo is better - it is amazing how resilient cats are. I hope he is getting lots of fuss and cuddles and tins of tuna!

 Milo is feeling much better today! to prove the point he caught a bird but I managed to rescue it. Stiches out soon, but I hope his coat grows back !!! Sorry pic so small- first one I've uploaded so not an expert. XX |

That is so funny. Milo is dead cute in his "tiny" way! Everthing I upload, turns up massive! Keept thinking the mods will tell me off! There is no happy medium between massive pics and tiny! Nevermind, he looks fab and glad he is on the mend!
