I had my saddle stolen this morning I am very upset - obviously it is replaceable and I have been able to get a replacement quickly as out competing next Sunday and needed to practice.
Thankfully the horses are fine.
It is a total shock as we are on a very secure yard with YO who can see the tack room from her house. The tack room was obviously locked and they came in the night really quiet as did not wake YO or her dogs and took £15k worth of tack.
It is partly my own stupid fault as my saddle was not insured as I did not think we were high risk and also as was not sure if tack room complied with insurance criteria as it was communal and had combination lock.
Why cant theives get a proper job why do they have to be such scum and steal our stuff - we are a diy yard and liveries are not rich so had saved and worked hard to get their nice saddles.
We have upped security and will have an alarm as no doubt they will come back if they think we have replaced what has been stolen. Luckily horses all ok which is the main thing saddles are replacable but the horses are not!

, why don't they go and earn money honestly instead of taking stuff from people who've worked hard to earn it.
