OK fellow HorseGossipers, here's the situation!
I have a fabulous Sec A pony who has made the leap from LR to FR - I also have a 9 year jockey who has also made that leap BUT is nervous and although the pony is fab, he either needs too much kicking (frustrating) or a more experienced (gutsy) jockey!!! My jockey has a lovely seat and is a very "polite" rider, she is very competitive but her nerves are giving her problems.
SO, here's my request, does anyone have a fabulous pony with a heart of gold and the willingness and patience to bring my little jockey through this stage. I am keeping the Sec A as, once she has mastered her nerves, he and she should make a formidable combination!!! ;D
The pony need not be "HOYS" quality or totally correct! Ideally he would be 11h-12h, forward going (no speed machines though) and responsive - a real confidence giver. He will love showing, PC, jumping (not too big!) and lots of cuddles!!! My daughter would love a Dartmoor but this is not a necessity although I would prefer a gelding (mine is a gelding). Although I appreciate that young ponies can be ideal, I would prefer something with miles on the clock!
In return, your pony would join our pony in a loving home where the ponies always seem to come first!!!! We are a small set up but have years of experience! We also have a friend (13 and gutsy!!) who will be riding our Sec A so everyone will have a playmate!!!
We are based in North Essex and can give plenty of references. I'm not too sure how long we would need a pony for but would think approx 6 months/1 year.
So HorseGossipers, please help!!!!
Thanks
Liz
PS We would rather loan/lease but should you need to sell your pony, we would consider this for the very best pony!
