I am VERY happy today.
Violet is on "go 2" of trying to get in foal and has just had her jab.
Lilly the new horse, has just been shod, for the first ever time behind and was just brilliant. Farrier was full of praise for her temperment and beauty.
She is off tomorrow to get her back checked, which I think will help her canter alot, as watching her on the lunge today, she is def worse on one rein in canter. Its bound to be spinal block somewhere, so hopefully she will be even more WONDERFUL in a few days time.
I would also like to say, that despite the "happenings" on HG yesterday, I have found some really, really nice/helpful/supportive/knowledgable people on this site, which has been a source of comfort when I have been in NOT SUCH A HAPPY place. Its a VERY good site.

I'm very very happy today, solicitors have finely pulled their fingers out their bums, sorted the contracts and we moved to the new farm on Tuesday.

I'm happy for a few reasons. Today my middle daughter left school officially, and went off to her school prom this evening looking every inch the stunning young lady she's grown into. Last weekend my miniature spotted qualified for International Miniature hoys. Best of all this evening I stood in the beautiful evening sunshine looking at my girls (and Sam Mule), having dropped daughter off at prom, and realised that though I may not be financially rich, I am rich in many other ways.
