I have been trying too get "show" condition on my ponies all winter nothing worked.
I recently notice one pony trying to eat droppings and soil.
I imediately put him on naf blood liquid and biotics and what a difference just over night.
im told when ponies change their coat they use alot of energy and vitamins, if they "hang on" to the coat their most probably lacking something. Im told our soil lacks selenium and vit E hence needing a boost!
I have been feeding four times a day for nothing now they have improved appetite and look stunning!!!

my ponies dont seem to like licks and previously had a horse that wind sucked on a lick having never done it before so not too keen on them.
however it was the first thing i tried as they also contain yeast but no go and also have to be careful with the sheep as it contains copper!

20 years ago,i worked on a racing yard, the horses were stabled 24/7 ,no turnout, once a week they were given apiece of turf 12 by 12 ins, grass, roots and soil, every last bit was eaten.
