Just noticed on the Sunwillow website that this fabulous stallion is now sold, does anyone know who the very lucky people are and where he is? Does anyone know if he's stayed in the UK or gone abroad again? Love this stallion and would love to know if he'll be out and about again showing us all what a true to type welsh mountain pony should be!

So....... i would be interested to know if he is in the UK or abroad for future reference if anyone has the common decency to be adult about things and answer a simple question! But glad someone knows where he is then even if they obviously feel its not worthy of questioning I for one would be pleased to know where this beautiful pony has gone as would love the opportunity to use him in the future as feel very strongly about preserving the breed for the better! Why can't people be happy for others these days and not have a go all the time?

ok i'll explain why yawn...
Curious, your post less than 48 hrs since he was sold when gossip about his new home had already started makes me believe you are more interested in the ponys new owners than the pony. If it was anyone else who had bought the pony I doubt this thread would even exist.
Your comments about him as a sire seem strange as he hasnt been extensively used due to showing him & there are other similarly bred ponies available - Dr Wynne has Sunwillow Irving 1/2 brother for sale and Sunwillows website lists colt foals by Galongs sire. I think Knodishall Gwilym may still at stud too.
Perhaps his new owner wants to enjoy getting to know him with a bit of peace and quiet before announcing his arrival, i'm sure they will do so when they are good and ready. He is a lovely pony, to be proud of.

He is a lovely pony, to be proud of. Thank you for that. I apologise for looking at websites of ponies i like for future stallions for my filly and looking him among others up, yes maybe you think my timing is 'suspect' but it is not! There are several others i have looked at aswell for stallions i have had my eye on for future breedings. I am somewhat puzzled to your remark about my reference to him as a sire as i'm not aware i made such a comment as i am more than aware of his showing commitments having followed his show ring career for a few years. I simply was wishing to know if he was in the UK or abroad again so i could look into the feasability of finding out if he was at stud in a couple of years time. Yes congratulations to Delami it seems for buying such a fabulous stallion but to be fair i couldn't care less who have him but now knowing can only think he will fit in very well in his new home with such lovely mares for him! Thank you aswell but i am also very aware of his siblings but as lovely as they are they will never be Galong in my opinion but thank you for mentioning them.

As a breed enthusiast finding the best of whats available for the next generation is paramount in my opinion and is something some people don't put enough effort into a lot of the time! I truly believe this pony to be one of THE best welsh mountain pony stallions around and was simply asking a question so i know if to cross him off my 'wanted' list to ensure i breed the very best i can and not just anything from the nearest nag! I actually can't believe a simple question has caused so much contempt and having to justify myself to people for asking a simple question! And Medic for your information i have got better things to do, ie find another suitable quality and typey stallion true to breed standard if Galong is no longer available for my future plans!

I think medic was implying that you all dont have to keep going 'off on one'. It seems no one can say anything on this thread lately without having someone either be d**n right childish and cause trouble or someone just be a little oversensitive and over react. It seems both has happened on this thread. If someone makes a childish remark, be adult about it and rise above it!!
Sorry but i had to say it!!
