looking for a horse to buy in october *no sooner*!!!! max budget will be £1000.. off the track tb would be ideal but open to anything as long as its sound and young... anyone know of any dealers that have anything at this price??? Im looking at the moment but not making contact with anyone until then....but would like a list so as of october i can start ringing round as its not that far away  thanks |

Donald McCain in Chomondley
Rob Lloyd Racing at Spurstow
Nicky Vaughan at Malpas
Horses are always looking for homes i know as i used to work in the racing industry. An alternative is to go to Brightwells sales at Ascot i think they are monthly. I noticed in June racehorses were selling for as little as £400. The sales would possibly be cheapest option, but sometimes you get given them from the trainers.
I re-trained one last year and he is now eventing with his new owner and it always brings a smile to my face when i have an email from them. It is very rewarding when you get a good one.

No dealers in Cheshire that i would touch with the price you want to pay. Get an Ex racer you will be well rewarded.

thanks - ive had one before and loved it and need a horse for uni comps (equiestrian team i hope i ayear or two)! i'll contact them - when do you think i should ring them?? bearing in mind i have been told i cant buy until october (first week) can afford one now but i have been given orders lol!!! really really appreciate your help btw |

I would not harm to contact all of them now tell them what you want and see how it goes you may have to wait a month or two before anything comes along. The sales at Ascot are every month.

i will do thank you i do a list tomorow and then ring roung tuesday but i'll make it clear that i cant take anything on until october (which is mega anooying but still)! have you got an ex-racer? |
