Hi HG's,
Any hint tips or advise would be gratfully received Pony has lost pigment around his eye, started just a bit underneath but now a bit more has gone, he has been on a copper supplement for about a month, advised by vet, but no change. Will it come back or is that it ?

One of our chestnuts had this a number of years ago now, we fed him the supplement but also put on very high factor suncream on him everyday. took a long time to clear up but eventually did

Selenium deficiency is the most common problem when this happens. . Might be worth getting a skin scrape done? One of our highland breeding friends has an ongoing problem with this due to the nature of their grazing ( very poor) and has to use selenium to help. Good luck

Interesting Colourful, always thought it was copper, will hot foot it to get some selenium, he has been regularly wormed all his life, so don't think it could be that, but will double dose him when he is next due.
