The pain will pass I promise, then you will have the comfort of knowing you didn't let her suffer.

Overbent your words are so true, I also have a little Toyah, but she is an Italian Greyhound and her days are numbered. She is approaching 14 and has tumours. Heathers you have loved your little girl all her life, that is all you can do. God bless her.

Oh Heathers I am SO SORRY! You are having such a bad year with your babies! However 14 is such a good age! You have given her 14 years of love and happiness, so its only you and OH that are suffering, not her!
I really think its time for a new kitten, once your tears have stopped xxxxxxx

Clever and cunning girls, can ALWAYS get what they want from OH, if just needs a bit of thoughtful planning/strategy.............. Think like a cat, wanting her own way and you may just succeed!
What cats have you still got left?

so sorry Heathers just read about poor Toyah. You did the only thing you could. I had to have my old boy Teddy pts last year as he had organ failure and there was nothing they could do. It is so painful to lose them. Getting a new one did help but I needed a few months to gt used to not having him. Then along came naughty Milo to join Winky and Hector. Hugs to you.xxxx

What cats have you still got left? i have got sisters Ozzy and Geri who i hand reared from 3 days old, they are 11 years old now. i have Kylie who was Lulu's sister who i also hand reared from a few days old,she is now 9 years old. and finally 10 year old Spike

Well 4 cats is quite a lot, but as you havnt got children, I def think you should be allowed an extra quota. You need some young blood to bond with, otherwise you will fall apart, if any more pass away!
I wouldnt mention kittens again, just wander around sighing and moping, whenever OH is present. He will get bored of it soon enough and wonder what he could possibly do to cheer you up!

so sorry about your cat heathers. these animals become so much part of the family it is like losigna relative when they go. We had a little puppy a while back but eldest son developed allergy and we ahd to find her a new home. i cried for days. OH said 'it is only a dog'! Men can be so heartless!

A houseful of tears. So many times. Sometimes you think, if I didn't have or didn't love animals, I would be spared the pain of looseing them. But then I would be denied of the joy and pleasure that they have enhanced and fulfilled my life, and hopefully i returned the honour of them being in my life, to them. Heck, they knew, i loved them. Thats all that matters. WHAT LOVELY WORDS
