Aww vjc he is absolutely lovely, he has that look at me quality even as a baby, could see him being a Cuddy candidate before he goes onto his ridden career. If only I had more time I'd love him on my yard for the future, he's

hi Verena you should keep him no matter what! keep him as your stud stallion! I now have an M&M colt and mean to keep him entire. Unless the perfect home does turn up! Haven't seen you since Enchantress was a baby girl!

Thanks sammycob for your kind words, and i also think he has a fabulous future. Anyone that trys to breed a small hack knows how hard it is to get the correct conformation/hack look /good limbs/movement, and attitude, and i truly believe Eddie has what it takes!... Duster i am scratching my head now obviously i know you??? well i have studied him and tryed to be critical but cannot fault his conformation, you are right he could be a future stallion. Unfortunately i am not in the position to keep him as a stallion as i do not have the help needed, i have been breeding for over 25yrs and run a small but very successful stud keeping my mare line pure! so i already have six of his relatives including his mum, and his 31yr old granny ;D I am in no rush to part with him and will only do so to the right home, and if he is still with me in november he will be going to the BNFOY show at solihull. Oh, i forgot to say, the mare jumping over the wall in my signiture is his auntie (enchantress`s half sister), the two head pics are his half sisters (out of his dam) Thanks again guys for your kind comments ( i will whisper them in Eddies ears tomorrow ;D)

Thanks for your best wishes mattie01, well it is difficult i can tell you, but because i want to keep the mare line going i have put Amy back in foal and i would love a filly of this cross. I do sell out my best because i get great pleasure from seeing them go out and win for their owners, because of that, many have returned for another elmdale, even ordering one I have been very lucky as i know where all the foals i have bred are, and get regular updates about them and their results, which i pass on to the other folks who own the family line. I am not a big stud and never wanted to be one, i just have my own little band of mares that all descended from my original horse Tara (indian chance) who will be 32 in march god willing.

Thanks Becki, i am very happy but emotionally drained! the funny thing is the new owners can remember his mum (amy) in the ring! and Eddie will only be about three miles away from where amy used to live!!! ;D talk about following in her hoofprints!!!
