my daughers pony is still quite green and therefore I am looking for a totally been there done it pony who is good in all respects to enable me to focus on my daughter rather than having to focus all my attention on the pony!
I require something totally non spooky in all respects in hand and under saddle, to enable my daughter to learn her ups and downs etc
Ideally I would like a Welsh A mare who can cope with the fact we have a stud where there are foals, youngstock and stallions in fields around the stable block
I would like a loan with view to buy as I know how attached my daughter is with them and hence the reason her green pony cannot go on loan, neither would she let me sell on a pony she will learn to ride on
her green L/R pony has put in a few bucks whilst my daugher has been on board and as she has only just turned 4 I cannot let her get put off as she is keen to ride on a fairly regular basis, I would like one that is quiet so she or he can go out for hacks on the L/R without spooking or jumping at anything we may come across
I am sorry I cannot afford mega bucks or we would have bought a perfect pony by now, however what we lack in outlay we make up in care, we have good turnout with field shelters and according to who gets on with who, an expanding stable yard and stables, we are suppled by a local farmer for hay and also Rosslyn Haylage, we have an excellent farrier and a fantastic equine specialist vet
we would like not to only show, but to hack out, go to pony club rallies and camp etc etc
