Perfect child's pony-with Fairy tale looks! Longest mane and a tail that drags on the floor.
13.1hh fully reg fell gelding, 6yo black.
Cracking confirmation with characteristic "stuck in the mud" action, no lumps or bumps. Fantastic breeding.
100% hack alone or in company- will go first or last and never gets strong or silly.
Lovely to ride in the school, balanced in all three paces. Snaffle mouthed. Loves to jump but again never gets strong. Would make a cracking pony club pony as he is brilliant with even the smallest of children to handle and to be ridden and has experience competing at all disciplines including dressage, show jumping , cross country, and gymkhana games!! I know he would definitely hunt as he is brilliant hacking in large numbers and I regularly hack out with my dogs and he is not fussed over them at all.
He is suitable for nervous or novice jockeys as he is so well behaved and a great confidence giver. I have had all of my family ride him and he was great! He is equally suitable for a more experienced jockey as he will step it up a gear if requested. I have schooled him over 3' x-country course no probs!! He just loves the water!!
.
I have successfully competed him in ridden m+m classes, in-hand, workers and he has won many championships in all- he has even taken a supreme championship. He has competed and won with a small child jockey in show jumping, ridden m+m classes, young handler, best mane and tail and best matched horse and dog class! ;-) and he was very gentlemanly and mannerly throughout! He has been lightly but successfully competed at local and county level showing and would make a cracking county workers pony as he has a good pop in him and is not spooky at all, and has proved this to me at local level. He regularly qualifies for PUK, BSPS and NPS but as I am not a member he never gets to go to the champs! He has qualified for the Royal London Horse show, Ponies UK, Equifest and Amateur Showing Society so far this year on only a couple of outings! He is completely home produced and is very easy indeed and it helps that he is such a good doer.
He is so easy to do around the yard, absolutely loves being groomed and fussed over. He will tie for hours if you asked him to and not make a squeak, easy to deal with in the stable and in the field. He is brilliant to catch in the field. He will load himself into a lorry or trailer and is a very quiet, steady traveller-even by himself. He is very easy at shows and other competitions and will stand tied to or in the lorry quite happily. He is a very good boy to bath- even in winter!!, he is good with the farrier (currently unshod), Vet, Dentist and Back specialist. He is fully up to date with his vaccinations and worming. Fully papered, registered and micro chipped.
Extremely sad sale of my favourite little man- but I have to make the tough decision for his sake, he wants to be going out having fun or just be getting the full attention that he truly deserves!!! Would suit any sort of rider, he is a perfect mother and child share pony as he would happy hack all day!! He is completely wasted with me a I show coloured horses so he is usually the one left at home and I have no time to ride him when I am at home. :-(
Open to any vetting. Possible short term trial available but to stay at present yard. Excellent trial facilities.
If you have any more queries or questions then feel free to pm me. I have tonnes of pictures and video's of him in different situations that could be emailed over if requested.
Would consider part ex or swap for good quality coloured over 15 hh and 3yrs+ I am looking for £4200 but no sensible offer from a brilliant home would be refused.
