This very sweet filly has been lightly backed and ridden up the roads etc - takes it all in her stride and is very laid back. She was meant to be going down south in September for a friends daughter to have as a fun pony for a couple of years. However, our old pony is coming off loan and is already down south, so it makes more sense for her to have her, instead of one heading south and the other heading north.
So, that leaves me with this filly who is surplus to requirements with us as we also have a 3 year old section A that will be bought back in to work over winter ready for shows next year.
Although she's a section C, she is not at all typey and is only around 12.2hh (haven't had a stick on her, but she's a couple of inches bigger than our full up section A). She is bright chestnut roan with 3 whites. Has a nice even white blaze on her face.
She has only been shown once by us so far, at the Ingliston Spring Grand Slam at Easter - she took a 1st in the Hunter Pony Class, 2nd in the Riding Pony Class and went on to take Reserve Section Champion in a classy section !
She will make a super childs pony as her temperament is fabulous and she is handled very easilly by my 5 year old and 9 year old at home .... they can even load and unload her with total ease. She's a babe !!
I would be willing to swap her for a filly foal - to make at least 13.2hh. Doesn't have to be welsh/native etc. My girls quite like their 'plaited' classes !! My only stipulation is that it's not grey, as I don't 'do' greys LOL. But any idea's or suggestions welcome.
Had she made a full up 13.2hh we would have kept her, but my girls already have a 12hh and will be needing 13.2hh as their next step up the ladder !
