Is it all just a shiny pony competition Does performance count for nothing Should a beautiful, eye catching, true to type pony that performs to a high standard be dropped below ponies that nap, buck and refuse to canter because of an aquired blemish If it was a conformation fault I could accept it but it clearly isn't and doesn't affect way of going or performance. Its so sad because the pony could do so well. Trying hard to minmise the 'fault' but it will never go altogether. Will all judges think this way Shall we do dressage instead??? (Hate it hate it hate it!)

Oh you know what, its nothing, I'm just pouting This pony is going to be a star one day! The fault will be treated and minimised over winter and she will be fab next year. In the meantime we all have our health and happiness, even by reading just this forum we all know that not everyone is so lucky and we should get over the fact that we didn't win at a piddling little club show. I love this pony, would put my kids on her any day of the week rather than the naughty ones that beat them this time, she gives me pleasure just seeing her face over the door every morning and watching her float around the ring pleases me even if it doesn't please the judge, she is happy and healthy and loves her work, jumps like a stag and hasn't a care in the world, she doesn't know she is blemished and even if she did she wouldn't care would she. I'm over it, onwards and upwards ;D
