This thing I have got on my leg which is described as a lightweight airfilled cast weighs 3kgs and feels like 10. When I turn over in bed it bruises the other leg so its now black and blue and this is only the fifth day of an eight week stint. What will I be like by the seventh week if I am tearing my hair out now!

Oh dear not good, got to say i wouldnt want to be living with you at the momemt, in a nice way of cause  Only 51 days to go, lol, sorry, it can only get better surely |

Secure a thick bath towel round your good leg when in bed. Not very romantic but it saves some of the bruises.

Bubble wrap around the cast.....
thinking of you MD and sending best wishes for a good recovery.
Having duffed my ankle up good and proper years ago, I know just how painful they can be.
