some people are not bothered and say what they want on here, what is wrong with asking the original question, someone might have told me what i wanted to know, but now I have found out the answer for myself, i have more morals than some, and feel that i cannot name and shame especially with who the judge is....sorry to be a pain, but i am sure it will all come out later this week..

Do we know why or who the judge that was asked to leace was Or is someone having a B**** as they didnt get the results they wanted ? Asked to leave because of bad and favoured judging, apparantly it was so obvious a complaint that was put in was up-held (if thats the right term) and the judge asked to leave the show, a senior lady with blonde/white hair, but I do not know her name, and nothing seems to have been said on here. my mum says she might have been judging show ponies or hunter ponies. stop beating about the bush, i think we are talking about

Hi Highill
I sincerley apologise for the comment I made earlier about your pony in the under 5 class. It is not my place to criticise the judges decision on a public forum. I do not know what the judges criteria for judging the class was. I admit i did like the second pony and other lower placed ponies better both conformationally and performance wise but it wasnt my decision it was the judges. I have no link to any placed pony in the class and wish to apologise both to you and the owner of the second pony who has also been dragged into the matter. I wish I could take back what I said and I offer you my congratulations on your win. I am very sorry.

Well done you! And thanks again As for preferring the second pony, it was a lovely pony too but as with all show classes, every judge looks for different things - good job they do otherwise the same pony would win every class every week and that would be very boring

The judge who judged the M&M FR class on the Sunday was quite bad i have to say. She had allowed ponies to leave the ring to do other classes while all the other kids had to wait in the line up. She was completely lost with ponies coming in and out and never watched half the ponies doing thier show. One mum shouted into the ring "excuse me" as her little girl was busy trying her best doing her little show and the judge was looking the other way at ponies coming back into the ring. A little girl on a grey was so confused as she bowed at the end and the judge wan't even watching. Thought it was terrible really as it could have really knocked these little kids confidence. Its just bad manners..

Its just bad manners.. I know that the reason one pony (and maybe others) were allowed to leave the ring was because they were meant to be in the small ridden in the other ring. These clashes should have followed on but due to mix up with a judge they were changed to a different time and ring. The people concerned obviously entered classes which shouldnt have clashed and I assume this is the reason they were allowed to leave and return. To be honest that happened a lot with different riders at NPS so it isnt unheard of.

That shouldn't have effected the way the judge done the class. Not watching the kids in their moment of glory is wrong

My pony was one that was left standing in this FR class on Sunday, I told my daughter the 2 classes would clash so she should make her choice between the 2 classes as I dont consider it good manners to back and forward between rings and knew that Equifest would return entry money as it was their choice to change rings!

milliesmum, i started a similar thread yes, what i said was true as for this judge i do not know and you will find it is not me i was at equifest all week and do not have a bad word to say about it!
the judge in ring 4 was delayed due to a welsh championship indoors in the afternoon, i know this as we were competing in ring four in the delayed class, in the ridden a and b class, the large breeds were moved to ring 8, i came on today as a friend who uses thuis site suggested milliesmum maybe insinuating i have started this thread!

I didn't insinuate anything, I said the subject matter was familiar and I would be checking the originator's IP - which I did, and the two threads were started by different people. I do actually check up and get my facts right before I accuse anybody of anything!

This description could fit someone who is very close to me and I can assure you she was NOT involved or asked to leave!!! She judged the Equifest SP LR & FR (on Saturday) so you can do your homework and eliminate her from your thoughts!! Maybe someone who "knows" could say the class judged and then, if anyone is interested they can look in the schedule themselves rather than throwing around allegations and allowing suspicion to fall on innocent parties!!!

Mizzy the judge has already been named on here, it now looks as if name has been removed, dont know if this was by request or whether not allowed to be named and shamed on open forum

with regards to the ring change for the large breeds m&m ridden on saturday from ring 4 to ring 8, i was disgusted with this decision. there was a distinct lack of room for the bigger animals with large numbers in the classes. the ground condition in these rings was also not good. areas of this ring were thick with sharp shingle which was hazardous for unshod horses and ponies. i horrified to see a show pony on friday come out of this ring with a tent peg embedded in its foot! then another tent peg was knocked up by a first ridden pony on saturday morning. The shingle also caused a problem as I was more than horrified when my large breed m&m (moved from ring 4) finished its show lame due to a flint that had embedded in his frog. These rings along the side of the grandstand should not be used as they are too dangerous and could cause harm to a rider and their horse next time.

I also picked up a tent peg that my pony had kicked up in one of the collecting rings and another near to the temporary plastic stables
