Did both this year and I totally enjoyed equifest. It was so clean nothing was too much trouble and at a price that you can afford. OK there were teething troubles but these will be sorted I am sure.
My daughter loves PUK for the nightlife as there wasnt a disco etc at Equifest so no doubt we will be doing both.
I found PUK showground the most dirty scruffy place ever, with the amount we are paying for entries surely they could keep the toilets clean the toilets and showers were disgusting most of the time. I have been going for 20 years but it wouldnt bother me if I never went again. Did someone say the girls in the office are friendly you must have caught them on a good minute - the normal reply is "the computer says NO" I find they to be the most awkward soceity on gods earth.
I suppose we will be back next year but it is def under sufferance from me.
I emailed Betsey straight after the champs to say well done and to give a few comments I was replied to within the hour. PUK have a lot to learn. I do think within the next few years Equifest will be a force to be reaconed with. I just hope thelovely apmosphere doesnt get spoiled in the process

Have competed at PUK for the past 9 years and it has gone downhill since moving from the East of England. Hardly any trade stands turn up now-poor shopping. The days at EofE when you had to be in the grand stand for 5.30 to get a seat and you dare not move all night because you could not get another-WHAT HAPPENED. The grandstands are half empty every night-even on Saturday. It's rubbish-will go to Equifest this year and save money and probably have a much better time. To PONIES UK

For us PUK Summer used to be the best championships of the year. It's a shame that it will never go back to how it was now it has been moved, and the prices aren't showing any sign of coming down. I went last year to have a look around and couldn't believe how quiet it was, the atmosphere has totally gone.
