This is an extremely difficult advert to write so perhaps I should say what i am looking for first.
I'm looking for a family home with someone (adult or child) who will adore this mare for what she is and who will shower her with love and kisses and spoil her rotten. I don't actually care if she never gets shown or competed again as long as she is well looked after and cared for. I want a 10 star home with every luxury and who will allow her to have a duvet day if its wet and cold because she doesn't like being turned out in manky weather and likes her bed! I really don't want her to be used as a rosette machine and sold on and on and her good nature taken advantage of.
If you can provide all this then please read on
I bought this mare at 4 rising 5, she wasn't broken until the end of her 4 year old year and I bought her to make a 15.2 hack. She hasn't grown 1mm since I bought her! I absolutely adore her and intended to breed from her long term so she did a few shows with me as a novice 5 year old and then I dithered about what to do with her as I am too tall for her. I leased her last season to a fantastic home and would have left them with her for good but the jockey sadly found boys so she returned home. I should have sold her the end of last season when I was offered a lot of money for her but just couldn't do it and this season she has been on loan to a dressage home. She's returned as I am not happy with the condition she is in and I have come to the conclusion that in order she gets the love she truely deserves I should sell her to give her that chance. I feel it would be criminal to waste her life just having a few babies and she wouldn't like living out!
So here are her details
7 year old bay mare (no white)
152cm - genuine height and I will guarantee she will measure because if she showed any signs of growing at all she'd be staying put!
TB x connie by olympic times, very well bred
Absolutely sane and sensible
Well schooled and knows her job
Big mover
County standard and absolute quality
Utterly adorable with no quirks and not mareish in any way
Not been taught to jump but I see no reason why she wouldn't as very willing, honest little mare who tries her hardest to please
Not seen heavy traffic as we don't hack on the roads but excellent to box/shoe/clip/catch etc
A doddle to do and very clean in the stable (poos all in one pile and doesn't like getting dirty)
Edited to add the following as I keep getting asked so obviously haven't spelt it out enough - you won't find an easier pony than this, requires very little working in (about 5 minutes just to warm the muscles up), can be ridden/hacked with other ponies, not super brave sometimes stops and looks at strange things but willing and tries her best to please, very laid back, no calmers/pills/potions needed at all. A DODDLE to do. I still want a 15.2 large hack version and will probably never find it. She really is the one in a million - home produced by a CHILD last year - and with good results. Not done any RIHS qualifiers and 8th in her one and only HOYS qualifier out of 22 ISRTs with a 15 year old riding. Absolutely top class but sane with it. She beat a VERY big name on her debut outing who has gone onto win HOYS and just about everything else since (not fair to name) so the potential is all there for a very special home to bring it out.
I have been told by Richard Ramsay that she would win Search for a star hands down - he absolutely adored her when I took her to a clinic and made me parade her up and down showing everyone her walk and canter but then told me I was too big for her (I am almost 6 foot tall with stupid legs) and to get a smaller jockey onboard as I do her no favours. In my heart of hearts I do know this but it's a bit
Winnings include:
Shown 3 times as a 5 year old only winning two classes at Patchetts (PUK RH qualifier and part bred qualifier), rugby show winner part bred class, PUK summer championships winner part bred class and 3rd hacks inhand class
2008 lightly shown from june to august only - home produced by 15 year old girl winning several BSPS classes and won 3 classes at EQUIFEST including hacks inhand and small hacks ridden and HACK CHAMPION plus 2nd in the riding horses and reserve champion beating much more established Riding horses. She won £140 prize money in 3 days!
Has never been shown as a SHP but should be!
2009 not been shown as family who have had her don't do showing. Has been on PC dressage team and qualified National PC dressage finals at stoneleigh. Also been ridden by very novice jockey for experience at PC events.
Terribly low mileage pony but that will be someone else's gain.
She is underweight and lacking in topline currently hence she's come home although this obviously doesn't affect her schooling or movement. But I am aware that someone will have to take the time to strap her and feed her correctly over the winter. She's a good doer and not difficult to put weight on.
If you think you can offer her the best possible home then price is negotiable and will obviously reflect her current condition but I want to do the very best by this mare and only the best of homes will be considered. I feel horribly guilty about selling her as I promised her I never would as I absolutely love her to bits, so I need the best posisble home preferably a recommended one. No more loans/leases - sorry but my sanity needs to be considered. Please no time wasters either or those who only have £1500 to spend. I am not going to give her away - sorry.

I am not in a great hurry to pass her on somewhere. I have plenty of grazing and she will stay with my broodmares where she is happy if I cannot find an exceptional home for her
These are as a 5 year old but gives you an idea
