Friday, although 'watching' is not always the case, we get there, have a quick look round the shopping village, grab a bit of food, ring my vet who is the FEI representative vet there, and promptly head for the bar for our annual drink-up and eventually get home about midnight, I'm lucky if I see one class!!

Going Wednesday to watch the natives. Can't wait - my dad (self-employed) is giving himself a day off and I have managed (don't know how) to get a day's exit pass from my school. Can't wait. Have not yet broken news to my dad that we have got to leave at silly o'clock in the morning and my school (I am a weekly boarder) are expecting me back by 7pm on Wednesday. Ha!Ha! Watch the natives in the morning, do some serious shopping (backed up by my dad's cheque book) and then back to watch the FR/LR. At this point I shall dump my dad in the main arena's seats so that he can be entertained (or not) by the show-jumping or more likely have a snooze. Would dump him in the bar but he has got to drive. Will try and provide an unbiased report on the natives when I get back as I have no connections with anyone going and just want to see the top M&Ms in the country to inspire me with my new connie.

wed & thurs for natives.
Cant wait its my mum's 60th & we are going down tues & staying at the Hilton. Its is also the 1st time I have been away from my baby girl!!
After a thread on HG saying no babies. Husband has agree to have 3 days off work. 1st time he will of looked after her on his own. Of course he is brill with her, just think by thurs evening he maybe a bit traumatised.

Going sunday for the gala night bought ring side seats too, missed it last year so thought i would treat my self and my mum, cant wait, love the shopping, will take my credit card and give it a good bashing!!!
