I'm a competitor and I love competing my 2 ponies. However, I have now been competing for a good 8 years at least. I'm only a teenager, but I find some of the judging appaling I must say. I totaly agree with the fact judges have their own preference, but it would be nice to see of others have the same views. I recently went to a show, and the winning pony bucked in it's gallop. I was shocked that this was meant to be a BSPS winter qualifying show and the winner bucked. I was pleased with my pony, however there was a pony above that behaved well, did a lovely show, yet lost it's place to the bucking pony. Surprise, surprise, a show producer was the winner of the class. I later saw the same show producer talking to the same judge and laughing as the judge walked away from their lorry! I was annoyed, because I find this in a lot of places. More so at the bigger shows than the smaller. I agree, it was a nice pony, however it bucked! Does this seem fair to everyone?
