i would say go for it it's what i do and i have work coming out of my ears at the moment and having to turn people down, let poeple you know who are horsey know you will do it and word gets around, it is hard work and you have to be reliable but i throughly enjoy it and get to look after some fantastic horses. i generally turnout in morning, muck out stables and do fields (for one customer i do everything at both ends of the day but she pays extremly well) i also ride for them if need be. i'm in south east kent don't knwo if it will be different where you are but i can't see why not. good luck whatever you decide to do but def get groom insurance just incase anything happens and you can't work, i broke my arm begining of the year and was out of work for 6 weeks with no pay and no insurance and 4 horses to feed. It's only £80 for the year and is really worth it lucy xx
