Dont know about the cost of the shavings, but remember to take either rubber mats to put down or some carpet.....the beds always seem to move and expose the tarmac....

WM it's always Easibed from the onsite store and for those of us arriving Tues the bed as you know needs to be started from scratch so at least five bales of bedding one advantage of being first it is very clean but has the disadvantage of being very expensive! I am taking my own this year but then you have to carry them, really looking forward to next week after being in hospital last week after a fall on the road when our baby fell slipped and fell on top of me!

£8 per bale of easibed, wow that's daylight robber as I've seen it in the shop for £5.96. I will buy 2 bales of normal shaving for £4.50 each and take it with me (I've been there before and found 2 bales is plenty unless they have a bigger model stables, mmmm I think I might buy 3 instead just in case

I've bought rubber matting from Costco (works out very reasonable and is re-usebale - think its meant for garages) and a couple of bales of soft chip (cheaper version of easi-bed) from home, I'm hoping that'll be enough, if not I can always buy another bale down there.
