last weekend a judge asked me if my 3yo colt had spent the summer covering, when i answered no the judge said he looked run up as though he had and im not too sure what she ment by this? lol

Possibly a little tucked up maybe, as in slimmer, which isnt a bad thing, colts can tend to wittle their weight off particularly if being round any ladies or doing any potential fatherley duties xx

I had a section B colt who also ran up lite as a 3yo, w/o being near any women, i also struggled to get weight on him as a 4yo whilst breaking him. Ended up having him cut, now hes a fantastic ridden pony still having some stallion presence. recently purchased a 4yo colt again very lite, cud be a hormonal thing.
