F.Reed at Puddledub Stud has a stunning TB stallion Bollin Terry, well worth a look, fantastic nature as well, my daughter can go in and rug him/feed him etc, have never seen him act like a stallion unless he has his covering bridle on, he is supper dupper lovely. I have know/been friends with Fi for a number of years now and have never seen this stallion put a foot out of place, even when covering he has manners to die for. He is an ex racer and does well in the show ring as well, so not just a pretty face.

Thanks for the 'reference' Tandy!! He is not quite as big as 16.2hh chezz6904, but he throws bigger than you would expect - I currently have 16.2hh & 16.3hh geldings both out 15.2hh mares. One looks very much like it would make a show hunter. He has also bred a HOYS placed Heavyweight Cob!! There are a few pics of him on my website (apologies, in need of an update!) www.freewebs.com/puddledub Although we are up in Scotland we can supply very high quality chilled semen by next day delivery and here is a pic or two as a taster:

What about One More Tiger? www.greatbrockhamhurststud.co.uk/onemoretiger.htmHe was with me here for a covering season, is a lovely horse with great action and has an excellent temperament, all of which he seems to pass on, he certainly has to the ones I know; my filly by him is almost horizontal but an excellent eventer type. I'd use him again in a heartbeat and he seems to suit most mares; he's serious quality, a thoroughbred with bone.

Stud fee for Bollin Terry is £500 (has been for 3 seasons now and under the current economic climate it will not go up in 2010 either). Available natural service or chilled or frozen semen
Hope I am not speaking out of turn, but I think Andes may have died.

I also recall it being mentioned in H&H that Andes had died - but there is nothing on the stud website, so had thought that I had dreamed it!
He is the sire of Red Andes who was HOYS and RIHS coloured champion in 2008, is produced from our yard and is an extremely nice horse - both in temperament and way of going.

What are the stud fees on Bollin Terry and One More Tiger? Thanks. Sorry this is so late, only just seen the question! Don't know about BT but Tiger was £400 in '09.

Andes indeed no longer with us but fairly sure that frozen semen available. We have a couple of Classic youngsters and they will all be hopefully going to mature into nice LW hunter types. Google Beechwood Grange stud for details. You could also check out Louella Stud to see what they have standing at the moment. If you have a look on the SHB website there is a list of all the graded stallions, some of which are TB's with a proven track record of producing what you want from a similar stamp of mare

Look at the Brendon Hill Event Stallion website. I own Tinsley Faerie Legend and he has thrown some lovely foals in all disciplines. If you want any further details pls pm me and I would be happy to discuss him with you. He is homebred.

have a look at Chancton Golden Colours on the stallion a.i. services web site. He is only 5 years old and this is his first season at public stud, might be worth a look.
