Cant see how she could be out competing at that age But from the ad she clearly has Looking at all the old and future SJ schedules i have, any animal has to be 4 before competing

Well considering some yearlings in showing classes look 3, how can people be sure a 3yr old is not old enough to be competing at their show, i dont suppose they check ages do they, rules, for some, are there to be broken!!

Problem is they are aged as at 1 January so a late foal, say born October and technically not 4 until then, could be competing at 3 years, 2 months that year as according to rules it is 4.
My horse is a late July foal, hence he did not actually start affiliated shows until the season where he was technically 5 but I could have been out competing him at 3 1/2 which would have meant working him from three to be ready for this.
At three he was backed and just hacked - more than enough and he has only started jumping this year.
I want my boy to be going strong into his 20s, not a wreck by the time he is 10.
