I am going though a very tough time at work at moment, have no staff (work in retail managment) am exhusted to the point I struggle not to burst in to tears if somone gives me a positive let alone negative comment. Am too scared to go to Dr they do not understand its nearly christmas and they may try and sign me off. its a tough time. Start to think that work is the only thing that matters.
Untill I get home and am met with a small hanson most perfect cat in the world who demands to know where I have been, at least know someone needs me lol, where is his very expensive food. But above all having him curl up on my lap as soon as I sit down for a cuddle, and the time to chill for at least six hours. non cat lovers say hes using me but if he can make me relax this much then maybe we are using each other. JJ you are the best cat in the world

All those people who don't have animals don't know what they are missing! I'm sure it's been scientifically proven that pets have a therapeutic effect.
Seahorse will they get you some temps in the run up to xmas, I know a lot of the big retailers take on extra staff.

Hi MM we are ment to be getting temps but no one seems to want to work, we offer nearly £7 an hour more when signed off plus 20% and I still have permanent jobs to fill let alone temps I should be on 11 fte (full time bods but am running in on 6 am so tired and stressed all I can say is thank god for that dam annoying fur bull (ie the best cat in the world jj) poor jj is looked after by cat sitters to get his full needs as am gone for at least 14 hours a day think he may be milking it rather hes pretending to be asleep on my foot now as I want to go to bed lol. Its a shame I love my loved my job but am starting to resent it but JJ has to have the best now I no longer have a pony.

i went through a very bad patch after i damaged my spine and fell into very deep depresion and it was the 8 cats and 5 ponies that got me through it.i owe them so much

Seahorse - put your well being before work! Life is too short and too precious to be ruined by the pressure you are under.
I hope you get your work problem sorted out DOUBLE FAST - and give JJ a big love from me, for being such a star! xx
