Sadly I must sell one of the two following highlands. Both these boys are absolutely genuine and only for sale due to my health problems.
Gordon Highlander of Armoury, 14 year old grey gelding, 13.2hh but substantial pony, by Major of Whitefield. I bought Gordon to get me riding again and gain confidence which he has done amazingly. He will plod round the lanes if that is what you feel like or up the gears for a tremendous gallop and then happily come straight back to a sensible walk. Gordon is a very experienced boy having previousely hunted, cross countried, m & m whp and been shown although I have mainly hacked him (alone and in company) we have enjoyed a few shows, some dressage and a trec event. He has lovely paces and has a tremendous jump so would suit someone who wanted to complete or equally someone wanting to restore their confidence, but not a novice as he can be strong in canter. I load and travel Gordon on my own anywhere and hes never silly and waits patiently in the trailer. Excellent in traffic, clip, shoe, catch etc. A wonderful pony who needs an equally wonderful home. £3500
Finches Lord Horatio, 2 year old cream dun gelding, Whitefield Lord Anthem/Lochlands Cello. To make over 14 hands. Hardy is a real people pony with a superb temperament and lovely paces moving freely from the shoulder. He has been to a couple of shows for experience and travels happily on his own. He has got two splints which are reducing but with his paces and looks even if they don’t go completely he still has a promising ridden career ahead of him. Full brother to Finches Viola and Parklands Lord Roderick. £1800
Both ponies live together in Hampshire and are vaccinated and wormed.
