I am looking for a Small Hack stallion for my Mare,
She is 25% PBA so i dont need a PBA stallion, but must be over 15hh and No bigger than 154cm
I want to get a small hack from her and she is 151cm so it must be bigger. AI or Natural dont mind
If anyone has some suggestions please contact me.
Many Thanks In advance

or use kilvington scoundrel like 90% of hack breeders do and sell it as a 14.2 show pony if it doesnt make the height .

I agree, Fmm , Scoundrel is an amazing stallion.
Will probably be too small, But Romanno Stud (Scotland) stand, Stanley Grange Regal Heights, and he is 148cm.

Hiya, what about my lad 'Romany River Raw Silk' although only 14.2H he is 25% tb and is throwing good height so far! out of a 14.2H cob mare i have a yearling who stands 14.1H now (will make 15H) out of a 13.2H mare i have a filly to make 14.2H and he's throwing huge amount of quality and presence, picture of 5 months old filly foal out of 13.2H mare:

Jane Busch at Dowhills Stud near Tiverton in Devon has some cracking stallions. I've used Excellente this year on a very smart 14.2 (rubyshoes1's!) in the hope of getting a small hack. He's everything that I could want - quality breeding, beautiful in the flesh, great movement, and a lovely person. www.dowhillsstud.com/excellente.htm

Hi Welshcaramello, Thanks for your very kind comments, The rug he is wearing is a cuddly ponies one, foal rugs were not deep enough for him ;D all i did was put a little tuck in the neck and shortened the belly straps then it fitted like a glove. Eddie is for sale but there is no rush, i have weaned him and hope to take him to the BNFOY foal show in november. I usually only keep the girlies but he is melting my heart so it would have to be a very good home for me to part with him. I have not sold one of my line out for a few years now so it would be nice for him to go out there and be seen! His mum is in foal again to the same stallion but then she will have some time out from breeding. I still have his granny who is babysitting him at the moment at the grand old age of 31 ;D. JUST LOVE HIS TOILET BRUSH TAIL ON THIS ONE! ;D

We have two lovely TB boys but both come in at 158cm so dont know if they are too big. My older boy May I who sired both the Hack and Anglo/pba foal winner at The british show horse Association championships this year high esteem pictured below. This is another hack that will be out under saddle next year. Another unbeaten hack and the mum produced a lovely full sister this year. Another two year old small hack out of a pure arab mare. And this is our new boy for 2010 Worthily

I was going to suggest Groomsbridge's two stallions
We have an Excellente 2yo out of a champion hack mare, but even though he was a first foal he is going to be way over height and is definatly a riding horse rather than a hack. Nice make and shape though and done well in hand this year
For a smaller stallion I like Willowcroft Regal Bronze at Stanley Grange and the nicest hack I have sat on (beautiful attitude too) was by Colbeach Nightlight who also stands there
