May I say well done to the organisers for a super day - great fun to have an evening performance. The competitors were lovely, the judge friendly and fair, the standard very high and the chips very tasty!
Special mention to my niece Ella McNeill who enjoyed every minute of her first concours class and evening peformance and took home Veteran Champion with our super star pony Aislaby Carmen.

Hi, Yes I too had a great day even if it was a long one. I remember seeing your little one in the championship, was lovely to see as my friends were in your class
The organsiers were under pressure and coped well with how late in ran but I think people still enjoyed it, shame about that bit of rain!!!
I came home happy with 3 first and 2 reserve champions.
Well done to Polly for the Supreme award, wish I could have stayed to cheer her on but had to think of my other ponies at home

Thank you Lola39, we have had her on loan for a year and she is the most special pony - she really is my niece's best friend and is loving being back in the ring as well as doing pony club and even mini one day events. She is a pony in a million and we feel very lucky to have her. It is lovely that people remember her - lots of people have come over to see her!

My niece said she had spoken to charlotte genders when she was getting chips so she was definately at the show and if it was not her riding her black pony then it must of been her twin as they were identical, anyway well done beautiful pony.

The lovely black 14.2 show pony that won ridden and in hand and a championship is fenwood enchantment and owned and ridden by Miss Gemma Gibson. Charlotte Dacre rides her mothers Brofeti Pillowtalk a 14.2 black show pony . Charlotte did attend in the morning and then went home ill with her father and did return for a while later to present sashes so thats when you may of seen her and the next day was diagnosed with swine flu. They do look very alike so its an easy mistake but charlotte was definately not entered as I took the entries and the pony entered was fenwood enchantment and Gill tells me Jack is on a well earned break from a successful season showing with charlotte.A big well done to gemma and her pony .

And Chris Porter knows enough to spot a good animal. If you want a panel judge Wonderer go to an affilliated show.
