I have been asked to help at some winter shows, but due to rudeness and abuse from competitors in the past I have decided to decline.
This is a plea to competitors please do not be rude and abusive towards show organisors. Most of them are unpaid volunteers. It is not their fault if you miss your class, or dont get there in time, or if classes are running early due to lack of entries. Manners cost nothing and a please or thank you goes a long way.
I am sure many others feel the same way?

Absolutely! It sickens me when people are verbally abused when they have given up their own free time-often for little or no reward-to help run a show. Is it any wonder that it's so hard to find judges/stewards/lorry-park helpers when a lot of them have been a victim of some kind of abuse. Please be nice to your show staff and you're more likely to have a show to go to next year

totaly agree with you as well, in my opinion no class can be running early as they follow on from the one before once it finishes, unless you have a NBT and in that case the class should NOT BE EARLY, we never give out times for classes as how long is a bit of string, people just need to be there on time and if not thats their fault not the show organisers.
