I have been under m fry a few times and always really liked him. He loved a little section b we had who was very pretty and flashy mover. He seemed to fall in love with it and stood his ground over other judges to have it win. He likes what he likes but if i had a good mover which was quality i wld always take it under him.

Was it Mrs Gomersall who judged the Kilmannan at Blair last year? It was somebody anyway, and I've been trying to remember for ages.

I like Mr Fry, and no I have not won under him, but i have found him to be fair and not facey, he alwaya gives a reason as to why he has placed you where he has. He seems to like things that move, my only gripe with him is that he will place a pony with flashy movemnet regardless of type, as long as it moves and has manners you should do well. He is not afraid to move things around in the line up either. Just speaking as I have found him to judge.....

Oldie, Alan Robertson judged the Kilmannan in hand at Blair. Amanda Gomersall judged the ridden Highlands at the RHS 2 years ago.

We when under Alan Roberson and he gave our pony a really bad confirmation mark in a Hoy's Qual but all year under loads of other judges this pony got top confirmation marks, you could not fault this ponies confirmation, it had a top go marks and didn't get the ticket because of the confirmation mark, so in my eyes i am not sure he knows what he is doing, thats why we are not going to NPS area 17. Mr fry not sure about him he likes his cobs but i think he is a new forest man really, he has had our pony down the line and had it to win, the pony is foot perfect every time out so not sure what to make of him, would not go miles to go under him.

I agree M Fry does like flashy my cob has never been lower than first but am sure is only because she has flashy movement cos she is not a good example of a cob!!!!She is too fine and not enough bone but does move well!!
