The company I work for is a wholesaler supplying saddlery outlets throughout the UK. We supplies leather, rugs, boots, johds etc.
We are looking for a Sales Rep to be either based in the North or the South to cover each relevant part of the country. We have not had much response by putting the job on Jobcentre plus so I thought I would put it on here to see if anyone knows of anyone looking.
My boss is looking for someone who has a number of years selling. Equestrian knowledge is not essential as training will be given. They will offer a good basic salary, company car and a good incentive scheme. the job is full time and will involve occasional overnight stays
If you know of anyone please ask them to forward their CV and details to info@treadworld.co.uk
If anyone wants any further information drop me a PM and I will do my best to help

Hi, only just seen job advertised. Am living in Cambridge area so very well based for south. Have 20 years experience in Sales with Insurance Brokers (specialised in equestrian insurance). Have owned my own and competed horses and ponies for far too many years to own up to! Is there still a vacancy please?

I am so sorry for everyone that applied. I did sent all the CV's over to my boss in indai who said he would contact everyone - obviously he hasnt done that.
They seem unable to make the slightest decision on this job. first they want an older person, and older person comes for interview, they say she is too old. etc etc
I will let everyone know when they have decided what they want and I appologise on their behalf for the rudeness in not contacting anyone

So are they being selective over age??? I find that a little worrying.

Do they know know that you cannot discriminate against age?

I had a lady contact me, saying my CV had not attached to the email. I re sent and have heard nothing since? I am 22 nearly 23 and have worked in sales since 18. My last position being a sales manager for a local radio station. I have had horses for 15 years and competed for 10years. Do you know if they have found someone for the position?
