 Please can i have some sympathy???  I am feeling very poorly at the moment. i think i have a throat and chest infection!!! My throat is red raw, i can hardley swallow, my chest is burning, im running a fever and have little if not no energy! But i still soldier on like us super mums do!!! I have EVEN GOT TO GO TO WORK TOMORROW!!! SHOCK HORROR  (sniffle sniffle) All sympathy will be greatfully recieved!!! xx

Ah I had that last week! Keep taking Beechams All In One Tablets, they sort of knock you out a bit - but they do help! Or alternatively do what my brother did when he also had it, go to doctors and get antibiotics. But of course being a man he had it far worse than me!!!!

Lemsip cold and flu works a treat! We have to be supermums otherwise things just don't get done properly!!! I will give you a karma when mine come back on to cheer you up xxx If I were you I would phone in sick unless you work for yourself xxx

Hope you feel better soon. Strepsils extra(blackcurrant) are really good for your throat. The only ones that I find really work. Given you a karma to help you feel a bit better x

Awww bless you all. I am self employed so cant really pull a sicky!! However i will go into work and just do the clients that are booked in and then i think i will go home and sit on here for the rest of the day. Thank you all for your karmas and well wishes!
However i think the situation will worsen, OH has woken up this morning and says he has caught this illness off of me. Obviously it is much worse and he will go to work because he is so brave, dedicated etc etc. Im just dreading when he comes home, can you imagine it???
Ill get a stew on the stove to shut him up for a while!!! lol lol

Definitely sympathy to you. My day is not going well but at least I feel better. I had flu/cold/swine flu, whatever it was it was not nice!! So I really hope you feel better soon. Did you not break your arm a while back too, or am i thinking of someone else??

I broke my foot and damaged the ligaments and muscle in my arm. I dont do things by half!!! was very silly today and dint wear my boots for turning the nags out and the mare that broke my foot went and stood on it again!!!! OOOOOUUUUUCHHHHH!!! That will teach me!!! Have sent you a karma Nursey to cheer you up. we can feel sorry for ourselves together!!! xxxxxx

I'm just getting over this, it was awful, the worst thing being the sore throat, even with the strepsils - total agony. Have run into two people over the course of today who have had it and tell me the cough hangs around for about two weeks, but sore throat starts to go away after about 5 days (I'm at that stage now).

i ve had it twice been ill a month just seemed over it when it all started again still feel awful so can really sympathise with yopur poor thing

Hope you are feeling better today, your poor foot!! thank you for karma. Since my moaning aobut not getting any birthdya presents I got loads of karmas. Only had 2 before, now I have 13! I will have to maon more often.
