Approx 14.3hh Dun connemara, has been very badly treated in the past so can be nervous. We bought him as a project last December but due to personal circumstances I have had to make a very hard decision to find a home for him.
He would make an ideal companion, he's happy to live in or out and doesn't mind being left in the field on his own. He is not nasty in any way just very wary, no health issue's, approx 13yrs.
A 5 star home is of most importance for him as I don't want him to be passed from pillar to post, this is why I would rather loan than sell, but may sell to the right home.
Possible project for the right person who has the time and patience to work with him and help him overcome his anxious/nerves. Feel free to get in touch with any questions.

Hi I was interested in your dun horse. I am a retired old lady who has a daft appaloosa horse and a companion ID, who is coming to the end of his time I fear.
I live in Rural Staffordshire, next to Cannock Chase, I am looking for a companion for Gym who would like to take a hack into the forest a couple of times a week. We dont do shows, we just hack and do an occasional local fun ride. I have paddocks and stables and 50 years of experience with horses. All I want is a happy hacker who is friendly to other horses, I am sure I could make his life happy again, after all, we live within two or three fields of a large feed merchant, who drops feed off for me any time.
I can offer references.
Where are you? What seems to have happened to your horse in the past? My appaloosa was very headshy and would not let you touch his ears when i got him in the spring, but he is fine now. He considers that he has trained me very well!
If you give me your email address, i could send you some pics of our place and horses.
Thanks
Barbara

Hi again,
I was looking at your Dun horse and wondered if he would be big enough for me. I am almost 12 stones in weight and 5'6" tall.
He would only be going hacking about twice a week, perhaps three times in the summer, but I am sure he would not like to stay in the paddock/stable every time I went hacking, he would want to come and see some deer sometimes.
What do you think?
