I broke and schooled Velmead Vronsky and looked after him from when he was a yearling until he was sold as maybe a 6/7 year old. He was then bought back a few years later. I think he was full brother to Redetsky ( he was by Rudolph) this was back in the early/mid 80's. George ( Vronsky ) was 3rd if I remember rightly at HOYS in the mid/late 80's. He was a lovely pony, bright chestnut with a star, very kind and easy to do.

i do vaguely remember?! redetsky (tiger) reached the grand age of 28 when he was pts, two of his wives are still going strong - basford finesse and a shoscombe both in their 30s, they have been together since they were 5yr olds, finesse a sister to b.elegant, and tother a dutch gold daughter, am curious to know of tigers history,

Will try to upload some pics for you... Top pic is Rudolph, other three are Redetsky. They are scanned from old NPS journals so quality not great as copies of copies..... but hopefully you will be able to see what nice ponies they were. Didn't messrs Bland and King produce Vronsky?

Aw thanks!! She is called Maxwelltown Maeve and app is still going strong hunting at 24yrs. Pony is called Clementine, I bought her in May as a laminitic vet failure and stick thin. Very novicey owners who just didn't realize what they had. I thought she looked like she deserved a chance so went for it. She bounced back real quick and I have tracked 3 owners back who did tons with her and came for a visit the other week. My daughter is only 7yrs so we have plenty time for them to get to grips as she is not really FYFR! It's so lovely to see the pics of Tiger and I can't thank you enough for posting this thread- things like this make all the hard work worth it have a karma

Yes Bland & King did produce George ( Vronsky ) when he was 3rd at HOYS but the rest of the time he was produced by his owner Veronica White

Yes Veronica had Dazzle for years she bought him from the Gilbert Scotts, he was 2nd with her son Peter at HOYS,then Helen Baker took over the ride. Dazzle was a lovely boy a real gentleman and I loved him dearly.
