Hi
Firstly just to add pigs and I are based in Wiltshire near Marlborough.
They currently live in a stable on my yard so would be suited to farm life or I am sure would adjust to any suitable home.
The males are proper males so will need to be kept seperate from the females if anyone is interested in having both sexes.
Size wise they do vary although they are the same age, the smallest girl is size of a jack russell and the largest boy which is spotty is prob the size of a cocker spaniel, hope that helps!

Can I just point out that anyone intersted in these pigs should be warned.............. we have a pig of this cross, he has grown to 250lb! standing at 3ft at the shoulder and is 5ft long. also should you buy a pig, any pig, you must be registered with DFRA, have aholding liecence and a herd number. You will then need to appply for a moving liecence before moving the pig, not matter how big it or small it is, this can take up to a week to get as you have to go to your local trading standards department to get it! and for those who dont believe the size of my pig............... check this out oh and the boars grow tusks think carefully before you get a pig, I dont want to have to rehome/find homes for anymore!!!!

phnomstud - thanks for your input however your pig is not my pigs and I have both parents of the pigs in question and they are nothing like your pig pictured!! Obviously anyone taking on a pig whatever size it is they are like any pet and the responsibility you take on with them.

Sorry but PIGS ARE NOT PETS LIKE ANY OTHER PET, they can and do distroy large areas, they can be territorial, and they do smell, ok if you dont mind but what i AM PUTTING ACROSS HERE, is that these pigs are a fad, they are becoming a must have, but they live upto 20 years when kept well, they are NOT CHEAP to keep and anyone owing one without the legal requirements is liable for up to a 10.000 pound fine. They require rather a lot of care, oiling of the coat and skin! foot care and tusk rasping, a place to wallow in summer, because pigs cannot sweat they can be quite ill if fed the wrong sort of food, ie salt etc, this can lead to death, oh and when the pig does die, you need a licence to dispose,
