13.3HH (will mature at 14.hands) Part bred Dark Bay 5 year old gelding. Absolute joy to deal with, he was broke earlier this year as he was very immature. Nothing fazes him will hack out alone or in company. He is really pretty with a gorgeous head by a B stallion out of a part bred welsh mare.
He has got an enormous jump and has never stopped at anything we have put him at. His forte will be as a working hunter or would go to the top at dressage. His movement is to die for - a dressage lady watched him working at the local indoor arena and commented that he reminded her of a young Manitu (the dressage pony stallion that retired this year at Olympia). We have only scratched the surface yet with his movement
He is still fairly green and obviously this is reflected in the price, but would be capable of showing or doing a dressage test even now. Whatever we have thrown at him he takes on and is a lovely level character who is a pleasure to have around.
He suffers from really mild sweet itch but is perfectly fine with his snuggy all in one which will go with him. We are in the worst place possible as our turnout is next to woods and a river so midges are far worse here than most places. He has no lumps or bumps and is totally straight.
I do think the best is yet to come with this pony as he is very slow maturing and has a tremendous length of rein. He is only for sale in that we have too many and my daughter hasn’t the time to do dressage, working hunter and showing and it’s not fair that his talent is not exploited. He will take a young rider to the very top in dressage or workers.
I am looking for around £3500 for him if it were not for his slight sweet itch I think he would be worth twice this price but I am realistic. I just want him to go to a good home where he will be loved and worked to his ability.
A good home for him is my main priority so I am willing to be adaptable on paying for him if the correct home was there for him
I don’t know how to put photos on here but can email some and I will also do a video of him working.
Please PM me for details
