I am wanting 2 pigs - ideally mini pigs - to grow no bigger than a small dog really.
Does anyone know where I can source these from???

the smallest breed you can get are Kune kune's, but they still grow bigger than a small dog?? full grown they stand approx24- 30'' tall prob just under 3ft long they are very easy to handle and very friendly, they don't dig everywhere up like most pigs as they graze, but they can still be quite destructive (love bulbs in the garden, mothers favorite plants etc...), if you need to contain them you will need electric fencing they are a joy to have around, real fun & very comical you do need CPH number & herd number, all you do for these is ring & give your detaills, but you do need to keep records of your pigs, but they are very basic for kunes look on their web site or farmers guardian best places good luck

'Micro pigs' are pot bellied pigs that over the last few years have been bred smaller, these wil still grow to 15-24", but keep in mind that these pigs have been bred runt to runt over the past few years to gain a smaller pig, runts of litters are usually the ones that have more health problems??

i have been trying for months to buy a breeding pair of mini pigs, i have been in contact with a breeder in cambridgeshire but it seems like she wants to keep the breeding to herself. Not very forthcoming with any information of how to purchase them but yet advertises on a web site (cant quite remember what the site is but came across it while doing a mega search!) You can put your name on a waiting list with them (unless you are famous of course), you need to send in details of your home address so you can be googled and need a Parish Holding Number, etc etc. It isnt that easy but then again it keeps idiots away - you would hope. Bit worried about the health issues tho, that could be quite sad. Oh just came to me - Little Pig Farm - details are on this web how to buy one, but be prepared to be scrutinised!
