Looked on quest nothing that really screams out, we look everyday to check for new ones. Was thinking someone may have something special hidden away somewhere. Looking for the old type with presence and plenty of bone

No preference but must be a substancial 14.2 or bigger. If it is a stallion it may cause a problem as will be on production livery. A couple that she likes are Newydd Ben Hur and Llanarth Welsh Dragon to give you an idea on type. Both have very different qualities but should give you an idea of what she likes. Do you want to sell him Wiltshire Man???

I've got a couple tucked away, both for sale - but both 2yos! As a breeder I don't usually have them as old as you want because somebody has bought them by then.

The cob is for a good friend of mine, she rode my boy last year for me. She is looking for something special to ride this year as she doesnt have a ride and the season will soon be upon us! Thank God for me as I have a new hunter to bring out but for her its not so good as she doesnt have anything as yet. She made a big mistake with a purchase so now is very cautious and has very high expectations. Someone must have something or know of someone who is maybe toying with the idea of selling!! There was a 4yr old at the Llanfyllin Stud for sale a little stunner he was but again because he hasnt been broken she doesnt want to take the risk I am beginning to think we are looking for the impossible!!!

Do you want to sell him Wiltshire Man??? Hi tafsmum,, Oh no my boy Ben won't be for sale as it took me 2 yrs to find a good one like him !! There is one Black gelding 5 yo in South Wales, you can see him in pic in Ringside Stud. OR 4 yo Black gelding with 4 white socks in Swansea, pic didn't look good as he is rather poor condition - Cwmtawe Stud, he called Cwmtawe Picasso. You can see both in www.welshcob.co.ukGood luck to find one a good one

I'm a fan of the Cwmtawe stock - those from Langarth Llewellyn have lovely movement for the riddens, they really motor and can canter too! Remember Cwmtawe Kinsey by him Wiltshire Man?
