I'm getting a bit annoyed when some people puts a title mainly when it's something for sale and they just put something like `Items For Sale`. I know people might have loads of stuff to advertise but, it's quite annoying when you look and you don't know much about it. It's waste's time quite a bit. Sorry to have a big moan. x Feel free to smite me, lol!! ;D

You mustn't encourage smiting snowflake else we shall have to keep getting you up and spend all day on the machine karmaing you.
Yes I think you are right. It isn't a moan, merely a suggestion for improving one's marketing.

.....AND REPLY TO PM'S!!!!!!!
I'm fed up of contacting people regarding requests for tack/clothing and even ponies, AND VERY FEW BOTHER TO REPLY.
It only takes a second to type, 'thanks but no thanks'. At least then you could try to sell your item elsewhere.
Sorry for shouting, but I feel better now that's off my chest. ;D

Lol lp also, eg maybe someone from scotland isn't going to travel down to Penzance just to see a youngster. People think thats a bit of a waste of time asking this and take you as a timewaster but, honestly, who is going to travel that far??

Location or even county/region on ads should be a must, saves wasting time & effort replying to pm's or emails, only to be told your too far away......that's if your lucky enough for someone to actually reply. Thanks, but no thanks.......is not what I'm looking for, thats all it takes.
Mobile Number's: what's the use advertising them without an idea as to where you are calling. At least with area codes you check these against the BT directory before chasing up an enquiry. HG is not the only place guilty of this, many other sites are aswell even classified ads in magazines.

same goes for wanted ads, I would not contact people wanting something if I knew they were miles and miles away from them, sometimes feel being told duh I'm miles from you so no thanks - how was I to know?!!
location should be put on post unless its already on the side bit that states your location (and a specific one too so know what part of country not just north/south/east/west etc)

I can never understand why people dont put a location or a telephone number on adverts as if I want to buy a pony and see it advertised I would rather ring the seller when I see the advert than wait days for a response to an email or pm just find it odd lol and like everyone has said the location is pretty important especially now with the fuel costs.
