Thought i'd better introduce myself!
My name is Eatmyshorts (well, okay, not really :
& I've had horses since i was young, used to do a bit of jumping when i was braver back then, but prefer to keep my feet on the ground these days! Done a fair bit of inhand showing in the past, & started showing under saddle a couple of seasons ago, so still very much learning! ;D
Most of my horses (in fact all but one!) have been bought "with issues" - it's a passion of mine to communicate with & understand horses with problems. In fact, i went to a Monty Roberts demo as a specator once & fell in love with a bucker he was working with......a few weeks later he was in my stable! (the horse, that is, not Monty!). I actually prefer Richard Maxwell's work, i've been on lots of courses & find watching him work amazing.
My hubby is horsey too (since he met me anyway - he really wanted a motorbike......) which makes life a lot easier!!! ;D

He'd only been a horse once when we met 5 years ago but took to it really well. He refuses to try dressage though cos apparently "dressage is for girls" (tell Carl Hester that!). He'd rather be galloping about & jumping - men, eh?
