We were at our wits end with our dog. H enever settled, wanted to chew everything in sight, jumped around like a loon all the time and was generally a bug pain in the bum. We considered getting rid of him, we had really had enough, when we met nikki from Leader of the Park Dog Behaviour. She took zues to her house for a week and we picked him up again last sunday.
All i can say is wow!!!! What a different dog! He is happy to just lay about and chill, he is no longer wanting to jump up at people and is a lovely calm obedient dog. She has given us a list of things required to help him improve more and to continue the success. I must say i am absolutley thrilled.
I can now start to love my dog again. xx

:)Ah how good is that. It must have been upsetting thinking you were at your wits end with him. Well done. I wonder what she did that made such a difference? What has she told you to do that you were not doing anyway? Very interesting and congratulations with your "new" dog x

The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his Tongue.

She just had to be on his case all of the time. She said he was the hardest dog she has ever had, so made me feel a bit better!!
He does have to be excercised more now - three times a day!! But he is worth it cos he is actually a joy to own now. I just have to be more organised and schedule my day out properly. I would do it for my horses so there is no reason why i shouldnt do it for my dog. He was on the treadmill for half hour this evening. There was no way i walking out in the rain again!! Tomorrow he will have his doggy back pack with weights in. It gives him a purpose and uses more energy!!!
