 I had to pop a thread on here to say what a top class and friendly service Janet from Le Beau Cheval offers! I , by my own admission was born with the indiscisive gene and struggled to choose the tweed for my daughters new show jacket ( There are loads to choose from!!) Janet was fantastic and patient!, she was so concerned that we were happy, the sizing was right and even made up a tie that we had requested in our colours. In this day and age where everybody is out for themselves it was heart warming to be given not only great service, but the quality of the jacket is top notch, she is a gem! she is the best, i never go any were else the service she offers is second to none always fits well, delivered when she says it will and always has a smile , keep up the good work janet x x

Does she make the jackets to measure? Do you have to go to her or will she take orders/measurements over the phone?

If you google Le Beau Cheval she does have a website. For made to measure she asks that you contct her. My jacket was made to measure but I did go up but speak to her, she is always more than helpful so I am sure she would take your measurements over the phone. She honestly can never do enough to help you.

Janet is wonderful! Jackets and outfits are stunning, she will make anything you want and she is cheaper for bespoke than the other companies are for off the peg. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

nice to here people singing someone praises rather than moaning all the time,
bonbon if you are who think you are i will let you know what i think of ya jacket when i see you at the shows,
you may have started a trend and it could be a case of i want one of thoughs.

Thanks for the tip - I don't need a jacket at the moment but did need a pair of Regent jod boots, looked at the website & they are cheaper than anywhere else so Iordered a pair which should be here by Tuesday!

Agree they are good service. But when i asked them to re-fit my jacket as it doesnt fit got a no from them. So i now have a lvoely jacket that doesnt fit me.

Agree with you all, i once phoned her needing a complete LR outfit within a week, within the week the whole suit arrived excellent quality & fit i would not consider going anywhere else

I totally agree - a friend persuaded me to buy a tweed last April as I had lost over 6 stone, it fits beautifully, makes me look sooo slim and several people have asked me where I got it.
I love it so much I've bought a navy jacket from her to replace my Bernard Weatherill which is also now too big - and I have to say the quality, fit and cut are as good as, if not better than the Bernard Weatherill.
oh - and I ordered it on a Weds and needed it by Friday as leaving for a big show. It came, made to my measurements as I'm not a stock size and was perfect - Janet even remembered me and my little adjustments. Enough said!

Agree great friendly service.
I bought a Charles Owen h2000 from there is it was really well priced.
Good section of tweeds and accessories.

i agree. im a pain in the bum and a total fuss pot(sorry janet) ive rang with an order that shes never made before and i got it just how i wanted it. ive even rang very late the night before a show with a order and got that too by the next morning at the show ground.( sorry again janet)xxxx

We met Janet at ponies uk northern and she was really, really helpful and looked everywhere for the jacket we needed. She also helped us when we lost our keys at the show! Nightmare!! lol Think Janet does an excellent job! |
