Hi there Just thought I'd introduce myself....I'm (almost!) 18, from Portsmouth and have been riding since I was 8 (though with a small break recently as I had to give up my share horse due to working weekends ) I'm currently on the hunt for a share, but it's proving tricky seeing as I can't do weekends and Portsmouth isn't well known for it's horsey community, so do let me know if you know of anything! See you around

I am surprised as I thought there is a load of horsey people live there (between Portmouth-Southampton-Bishop Waltham)

There are Wiltshire Man! My old share was in Swanmore, only a few minutes from Bishops Waltham. The only issue is contacts...everything seems to go by word of mouth. I'm doing the best I can but it's tricky as I live around 14 miles from Bishops Waltham way

I've never been up to Hazleton before...perfect excuse! Essentially, I'm you're basic happy hacker! I'm perfectly capable walk, trot, canter, gallop, basic lateral work.....we'll not talk about jumping as I tend to end up covered in sand! I'm an 80 year old in a 17 year olds body and would much rather be mooching about the countryside than aiming for newcomers or the like! A lot of horses I seem to be seeing are aimed at competition riders, or someone looking for a project. I'm fine handling high spirited horses and general pratting about but I wouldn't class myself as experienced enough to take on anything with any real issues.
