Oh how divine, I'd love one but husband would go mad - our rescue believed saluki not the easiest dog to own!

Hi is the Tri colour a dog or bit*h? How much are you asking? pm me if you'd rather. Ta. oh and are parents feathered or smooth? I don't think the word 'easy' exists in the Saluki world! lol ;D

Well this one has all I've ever read about the saluki chase instinct and behaviour along with plenty of issues of his own presumably caused by bad treatment before we had him. Lovely lovely dog though and much loved, I'd have another like a shot but either from a puppy or a known history! Our other dog is a saluki lurcher with a collie dam and is the perfect dog, beautiful, intelligent and obedient but without the collie "hyperness".

The dark dog pup has been sold so there are only lighter pups left, I am asking 850 for them. Salukis are like any other dogs its how you raise them, I have 3 and find them very easy to manage don't believe all the nonsense thats written in Saluki books the societies just want to keep Salukis elitist.

Yes I'm sure it is but all breeds do have their inbuilt character. I heard of one that used to accompany racehorses on the gallops OK loose, if anything would excite chase instinct surely that would so it can be done! Ours has all sorts of issues doubtless due to his early life and mistreatment of which we know nothing but the consequences. As I said I love the breed and would have another like a shot - but a puppy to bring up myself this time! Hence cooing over your lovely basketful.
