Trying to get tack sorted for my hack for this season and am struggling to find a make which I like and also fits my horse. Shes a Tb but has very fat withers!
Bought her a 17" med-wide Samantha but unfortunately even we can see before getting a saddler out that its going to pinch badly. The flaps are also too small as she is quite deep. Horse is only 4 and has been on holiday all winter and has obviously changed shape more then we anticipated!
So was wondering what make of saddle people use on their hacks to explore a few more options...?
Thanks

We use a Fylde on our hack but if that does not suit your hack try giving Marjorie Ramsay a ring.

most of the hacks use a fylde marg as judges find samanthas a bit to flat but a 17 sam would be far to small on a hack, you need a big seat as pos as some judges have larger bums.

i always used a fylde marjorie- 2 for sale if you r interested!! the newer one we had made with i think 18" seat-but skirts width of a 17" to accomodate judges but still look elegant!! the fyldes trees can also be adjusted slightly too!!!
