a stunning pony, a real character, who sired some fabulous ponies, we had dressage/ 3de ponies, that did extremly well, oh and the odd showpony, but none as great as the illustrious jackets maysong, valcelibrita,vagrant, trully fabulous ponies are there any more???

We had Courtland Valencia who was by Valiant out of The Hack Champion, Song of the Sea Was Reserve Supreme young hack of the year 1991 at the Hack Champs, was absolutly stunning!!!!!!!!

Used to look after 13.2hh Jackets Valhalla. Had several Jackets ponies by Valiant at the yard I worked on, seem to be mostly bay, remember 1 chestnut mare though with a terrible temper!!!!

Thank you we feel proud to own her and have a super filly from 2009 to follow in her footsteps, keep her bloodlines and hopefully continue our breeding programme from her!!!! She though looks as well as ever and will hopefully have a few more foals for us!!!!!

solway little star came to jackets to valiant with a cusop fingerprint foal at foot, when i was there as a pupil you might like to know star was a real looker, dam of numerous sp stars inc RP hill star and i think ended her days at dipford in devon, re valiant see jackets stud web.

Traffic you are right Diptford Star Attraction has RP Hill Star lines. I remember seeing her under saddle and she was gorgeous. I definately think the ponies of yesteryear had "something" that isn't always seen in todays ponies. Not sure what it is though!!!!!!

age id imagine!!!!! Few ponies of today give the same buzz, with the exception of the broadgrove ponies.
