I can confirm that this project is under full swing and details will be announced shortly, please be patient as a lot of hard work has gone into this venture over the past couple of months to get it ready for its launch date in the new year.

hi im a lurker here - a member on several sites. I think youv'e got a great idea, what i personally would love to see is something along the lines of the NCPA but for the southern and eastern counties! In east anglia Welsh medal shows are very few and between and alot of shows are cutting their classes particularly for in hand breed classes. Good Luck!

I doubt it too, I see from the press release on puk website that she is still chairman and Pat cambell is vice, seems not much will change there, beginning to wish I hadn't handed over my membership so quickly!!!

Would just like to add following a few queries that, altough the first show will be based in the midlands, we aim to become a nationwide organisation catering from Cornwell right up to Scotland. This obviously can't be done overnight (unless I perhaps win the lottery) as the funding isn't there yet, but bare with us over the next couple of years and we should have something for everyone.
It would be most helpful if you could distribute this link around other forums and to anyone else who might be interested.

Have just been alerted to the fact that the newsletter appears slightly 'off' in some of your browsers, please accept my apologies. This is what it should read, for those of you with uncompatible browsers (my html knowlege is still a work in progress!) SHOWLAND NATIVE SOCIETY Well, here is the news you have all been waiting for. The arrival of a new showing society. Firstly, we are not a welfare society or a society setting out to replace any other current organization—we are a ‘Native showing society’. Our aim is to provide a whole new showing experience dedicated to providing a service and pleasing its members. We aim to deliver the best shows, the best support and most of all the best in customer relations. We are dedicated to the promotion of Britain's native ponies throughout the showing world and hope that we can also help in the growing popularity of natives as a whole. We are not a money making venture and will not be lining our pockets with profits but instead putting this money back in to our society so that we can continually be providing new avenues for all our members. Our small committee currently consists of a few carefully selected members that are not household names, but instead are those that have experienced the world of showing from all different levels and have learned through hard work and dedication, we simply felt that it was time a society was run for the people, by the people! SHOWLAND NATIVE PONY ELITE CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW This will take place on Saturday 8th September 2007 at Vale View Equestrian centre, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Vale View E.C. is a recently developed site incorporating a quarter of a million pound indoor arena alongside 2 Olympic sized outdoor arenas, a fully equipped jumping arena and state of the art sound equipment, all nestled amongst 200 acres of private grounds. Qualifiers for our championship evening performance classes can be gained at various county, breed & society shows throughout the season, as well as during our day classes. Further details will be released shortly. SPONSORSHIPAs we are a newly formed society our bank balance stands at the grand total of zero! We are currently gathering sponsorship from a number of sources with some success, however we still need to raise over four thousand pounds for our championship show in September. There are a number of sponsorship packages available to suit any budget. If you would like to help out in this area please contact me for a sponsorship pack which includes more information and list of benefits. WEBSITEOur website is still currently under construction. Regular updates and all the latest news can be viewed at the Showland Forums. www.showlandmag.proboards85.comOUR NEXT NEWSLETTEROur next newsletter will be issued next month. This will include; · Show Schedule & judges. · Full membership details. · Qualifiers & Affiliations. · Our 5 year action plan & Constitution. · And much, much more...
We understand that you may have very many further comments & questions, although full details will be released shortly we will do our best in the meantime to meet any requests issued. Please E-mail: showland@btinternet.com Or if you would like to receive a copy of our full press release and governing document please send a large SAE to: Gemma Brinkley, Showland Native Society, The Cedars, Welford Road, Kilby Bridge, Leicestershire LE18 3TE.
