I have a bit*h that is 6 weeks in pup and has just started with the runs. She is fit, healthy and just as active as before only a bit slower. Her everyday diet consists of a dry food mixed with some meat and she has always been fine. As she Is in pup I have recently changed this to the dry puppy biscuit with some puppy meat to ensure she is getting enough goodness. If anyone has any advice or suggestions they are greatly appreciated.

You might find that the puppy food is too rich for her,as long as she is fit and healthy it sounds like it is the diet, but watch in case it is the start of a tummy bug.

Thank you suzee, I did wonder if the food might be a little rich, I might replace the puppy meat with cooked chicken or mince and see if this settles her

That sounds about right, chicken or white fish are great for any tummy upsets.

try her on some live yoghurt... probiotics.. etc...
you need to keep feed intake up so its a tough one.. I feed my pregnant bit*hes on cooked chicken, best mince, tripe, and a good dry food.
