Idyllic Aces High 11.3hh 4 yrs light dapple grey gelding
This is a very rare opportunity to purchase a correct and wonderfully bred 4 year old By Idyllic Entrepreneur x Maestir Tabatha His breeding is impeccable - Maestir Tabatha being dam of several Champion in hand and ridden ponies for Idyllic Stud and Entrepreneur is already a leading stallion being a RW champion, placed in the Cuddy final at HOYS last year as well as really stamping his stock.
Substantial, eye catching pony with fantastic limbs and bone and a leg at each corner. Well set on tail, great front, holds himself in a natural outline. Is very much in his fathers image and has inherited his fabulous walk and extravagant trot. Was a foal show champion and has been successfully shown in young stock classes. Licensed as a stallion last year but not been used to cover mares. Just been gelded last week. He has not put a foot wrong here, being good to handle, with a nice nature, not colty. I think this pony is of the calibre to go to the top as either an open ridden, first ridden or even M & M whp, he is ready to go on and be broken just in time for the season starting. Sensibly priced to sell at £1650 ono as I do not have any riders and a gelding is no use to me! PM for telephone number - based in North Essex

new photo taken friday 15/2 I really cant fault this pony. He was gelded under 2 weeks ago and is proving to have the most laid back, unflappable temperament, easy to handle with a nice nature in and out of the stable. He has been lunged next to a field of mad mares and fillies and he isnt bothered in the slightest. I longreined him down miles of farm tracks on a windy day, he didnt bat an eyelid - walked through puddles, past scarecrows! and farm machinery. Nothing seems to faze him, he takes everything in his stride. If i was smaller and lighter i would have backed him by now but i'm not so will have to do with carrying on the groundwork. I am the first to find fault with my own ponies but i really think he has just what it takes to go to the top as a ridden pony, I can see this pony at Hoys within the next couple of years in the right hands. In view of his lovely temperament I now think he would do the L/R job - maybe with an older child, although he is of the stamp to do F/R or Opens ideally. He is a big moving pony and really does have the most amazing walk which needs to be seen to be appreciated!
